Board Responsibilities

Licensing Practitioners

Our Board licenses the following qualified practitioners throughout the State of Nevada:

• Speech-Language Pathologists
• Audiologists
• Hearing Aid Specialists

Enacting Regulations

Our Board complies with and responds to current NRS laws and NAC regulations, conducts research, makes recommendations, initiates changes in laws and regulations, and testifies in legislative committees as necessary.

Enforcing Laws and Regulations Relating to the Professions

Our Board monitors licensees, responds to reports of unlicensed practice activity, receives complaints, and initiates disciplinary action against licensees as necessary to ensure the welfare and safety of the public.
